This is my first video knapping a point as LamokaGhost. It seems that I am out of practice a little with the camera but stay tuned, please. This stone has offered me some great challenges in this video, the cortex is not hard at all, kind of sandy but pure eye candy for a knapper like myself. I at this point am hoping that the bullseye will be a big part of this point and I do everything I can to keep the bullseye there. In my next video you will see a little more of the thinning and as I go along with this point I explain a little more. Thank you for watching and happy knapping. Music by Joseph Firecrow.

  • Hello sir, that was an awesome video. I have never done anything like this or attempted to, i am a woodworker and callmaker and have never really messed with stonework and the like. I am not even sure how i located your stash of videos on youtube tonight but i did somehow.

Bought me to a few tears actually, the music in the background and watching you do what it is that you do, took my soul back to a time when i knew men must make such things to provide sustenance for their family. amazing.

  • @Truefirech Please call me Jim. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to watch me work this piece of stone.

  • @Truefirech Keep at it my man, keeping that sector of history alive...don't let go of it, i'm not a Native American obviously but i hold such a deep respect and admiration for them. Being an avid outdoorsman, i appreciate all the more, a people that held such a 'sacred' view of the animals they hunted and that provided a livelihood for them. watching what it is that you did, was actually therapeutic and brought healing to my soul in a way in which few other things have recently.
