the run-up to "30 years (slight return)", 24V09

at the greenhouse in stockport, working on pieces for the next album & having the usual lark about aswell. here we are working to gary's stopwatch, trying a more disciplined approach to improvising. so there's the tail-end of a piece, a little discussion/interlude & then the start of "30 years (slight return)", but I've mixed in some audio from the finished version with martin's sax parts which we added later.
