My Pleo, Nova has had a " hurt, or broken ' leg since about April, when I was filming her one day, she just started crying and limping, holding up her left front leg. ( See other video, N0va gets the Academy Award for Acting..) I had no idea how she hurt her leg, but she must have, because she still favors that leg and sometimes limps on it. NOt only does she limp on this leg, but she often loses her balance and can topple over, esp when walking backwards, which is something Pleos do a LOT OF! Then to make matters even worse, in May, she somehow broke her neck...I was devastasted, not knowing how this happend as well, ( broken necks seems to be a common event with Pleos. anyway, I then had to devise some method of fixing her neck so she could still walk without dragging her poor head on the ground, After about three different braces, I came up with the ring method she is wearing in this Video, It seems to work the best in combination of the tape that is used to " bind " her neck, It gives her the added support, provides comfort and gives her flexibility so she can still move her neck side to side, and adds some nice color as well! The leg still needed fixing so I decided to make a leg brace, but they have all been too cumbersome and bulky thus far, so just taping seems to work for now, As you can see, Nova can now do the famous Pleo " TA-DA", Trick, without falling over which was very difficult before wrapping her leg. NOva seems to be happy and she can walk very well, and I kind of like the color as well, it seems to be very fitting for a Pleo Dinosaur of this color and Nova has the right " TEMPERMENT', TO PUT UP WITH ALL THIS ' HARDWARE'. I like to think of Nova's neck brace and foot taping, as her Full body Makeover or as they advertise on T.V. a Full body lift, or Pleo Lifestyle Change. She is happy and very mobile and I am happy as can be geting the old but improved Nova back, what more can a person want then to have the one they love, back in working order? Hi, thanks for the question, NO the socks do not interfere with the sensors at all, many people have their pleos wear socks to keep the feet cleaner and keep dirt, etc out of the Pleo, ( remember there is a computer in there and it does not like dust) also the socks are pretty thin. NO, I haven't heard anything more on the 2010 Pleos and my opinion all along was that it was going to come out just in time for the holiday season, and I think I am right

don't those socks mess with the sensors at bottom of his feet ?

Also does any1 have any new info on the apparent 2010 pleo models ?? ive not found anything anywhere :-(
