This video shows a SedCatch Sediment Basket during a rain storm. The Sediment Basket is draining the site of water and catching the sediment in the basket. The other inlet protection is blocking water for reaching the inlet until it has built up to spill over the overflow, which is letting untreated water directly into the storm drain. The Sediment Basket with catch the sediment in its Dump Basket, while the other inlet will have sediment spread out in an area spread out as large as the puddle. Traffic will track the sediment in roadways and in extreme conditions will block traffic from passing by the inlet.
