Depeche Mode at Madson Square Garden NYC 8/3/09

Here are some bits and pieces from Depeche Mode's Tour of the Universe New York City show. This was the 7th time I got to see them and they finally played Strangelove during the first encore, I'd been waiting over 10 years to hear them play it in concert!

I had floor seats at Madison Square Garden, but I was almost 100 rows back. The giant video ball above center stage and the screens were amazing, and - as usual - DM put on a fantastic show. The crowd was fucking awesome too; it was nice to be surrounded by tons of other serious fans just like me.

Songs as they appear on the video: Policy of Truth, In Your Room, Enjoy the Silence, Never Let Me Down Again, Stripped, Master & Servant, Strangelove, Personal Jesus, and Waiting for the Night.

And yes, that's me saying that I need to touch myself as soon as they started Enjoy the Silence. Really, who wouldn't?
