This is so bad that it is good. The encoded clip doesn't look as good as the source tape unless you resize the screen smaller. This was a segment from Night Of 100 Stars II which aired on ABC TV in March 1985. (The show actually featured over 300 stars.) Here are the shows and stars included: "Gimme A Break"-Nell Carter, "Who's The Boss?"-Tony Danza, "Night Court"-Harry Anderson, "Diff'rent Strokes"-Gary Coleman, "Punky Brewster"-Soleil Moon Frye, "Benson"-James Noble & Inga Swenson, "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes"-Dick Clark, "The Facts Of Life"-Charlotte Rae, "Family Ties"-Michael J. Fox & Meredith Baxter Birney, "Charles In Charge"-Scott Baio, "The Cosby Show"-Tempestt Bledsoe, Lisa Bonet, Keshia Knight Pulliam & Malcolm-Jamal Warner, "The Love Boat"-Gavin MacLeod, "The Jeffersons"-Marla Gibbs, "Newhart"-Bob Newhart, "Webster"-Emmanuel Lewis, "Cagney & Lacey"-Tyne Daly, "The Fall Guy"-Heather Thomas & Doug Barr, "Remington Steele"-Pierce Brosnan & Stephanie Zimbalist, "Simon & Simon"-Jameson Parker, "Knight Rider"-David Hasselhoff, "Matt Houston"-Lee Horsley, "Scarecrow and Mrs. King"-Kate Jackson, "Hardcastle and McCormick"-Daniel Hugh-Kelly, "T.J. Hooker"-William Shatner, "Street Hawk"-Rex Smith, "Riptide"-Perry King, "Trapper John M.D."-Pernell Roberts, "St. Elsewhere"-William Daniels, "Ripley's Believe It Or Not"-Jack Palance, "Finder Of Lost Loves"-Tony Franciosa, "Hill Street blues"-Rene Enriquez, Bruce Weitz, Joe Spano & Betty Thomas, "Cover Up"-Jennifer O'Neill, "Dallas"-Linda Gray, "Falcon Crest"-Lorenzo Lamas, "Dynasty"-John Forsythe, Linda Evans, Joan Collins & Diahann Carroll, "Knots Landing"-Julie Harris, Lisa Hartman, Joan Van Ark & Donna Mills, and "Arthur Haley's Hotel"-Anne Baxter. The singers are Hal Linden (Barney Miller), Michelle Lee (Knots Landing) & Nancy Dussault (Too Close For Comfort) I am surprised that Webster and Arnold Drummond didn't throw down.

  • Great video! Brings back so many memories. I've forgotten about some of these shows. That was good TV back then!

  • Rex Smith from Streethawk was featured..... interesting.

  • Pernell Roberts is a star !! from the Netherlands.

  • @kgraham15 I believe Hill Street Blues, Cagney and Lacey and The Cosby Show were award winning high quality shows.

  • @craftruth2009 Um.....actually it's just the opposite. TV now doesn't compare.

  • wow...back when you didnt have to be particularly attractive or interesting to be on tv!

night court was the only good one out of all those shows...

  • Hard to believe that Joan Collins was feuding with Charlotte Rae over 20 years later. How the mighty have fallen.

  • Punky Brewster has a face only her mother could love.

  • Tragically, Anne Baxter was dead only months later.
