The basis of capitalism ( and not that i'm saying that communism is any different here) is to gain the most profit the cheapest way. The profit ALWAYS goes to the fat cat, broker, banker.

The worker means NOTHING. They did once when the Unions were strong but they've been deemed troublemakers.

People on here say musicians are W.C. Walter Trout is but one can hardly call Sir Mick Jagger or Sir Eric Clapton W.C.

@Iamtoolmaster It's nothing new...it's part of the Victorian ideology when 5 yr old kids were sent to do the most dangerous jobs in printing works...for peanuts! . The idea was to make the people into slaves, take away sense of dignity, and cause the survival of the fittest(richest!).

This was why the Trade Union was formed in Britain , later in the USA..to protect the rights of the worker.

But the Union hardly exists today. How many strikes do we hear of these days?

@garyrs1 They would understand it BUT they wouldn't care. This same thing happened in the UK during Maggie Thatcher's reign. Reagan gave her some advice on how to crush the Unions.

She shut down all the steel works, coal mines. The backbone of Brit industry for centuries.

Imported coal from China. The reason is ,cheap cost/huge profits and in China people don't demonstrate for higher pay.

Would any American or Brit accept $50 a week as wages? They do in Mexico or China.
