@Bronk82 The Nuuuli Village declined the invitation because they (Teuila Boat race committee) announced recently their intention of using the traditional wood oars by all the competitors in the Teuila race.

2.8 mile race with the Segavao gaining all the way from 7th place...what would have happened if it was the regular 5 mile race. Either way, congrats Aeto.

I agree with polyblogger....i was in Apia for the that race...the sad part is even the captain for la o samoa admitted to blocking the aeto in his television interview....the Nuuuli Satani is getting ready for their invitation to teuila festival race in september......I just hope they will play fair this time...it just ruins the sport when you resort to unsportsmanlike tactics...
