The answer is NO! The Chevy Volt will leap Frog any technology other automakers have on the market. By the way it's going to be in production late next year.

It can if they increase the price by $15,000 by adding a bigger battery pack
but they did NOT do it to make it affordable $22K against $45K you choose
the volt only exist in the concept of Gm imagination

They do that to most cars; take a great concept, then reshape it so that 65+ years or 21 yr olds will buy it.
About the only car GM has that competes well, is the Corvette; is they could do that to their entire fleet, they would be competitive again.

I really hope the production vehicle looks like the concept car. The wind tunnel shape looks to be different. GM is great at turning stunning concept cars into boring sedans.
