Hammam al Ward - Radio Documentary

For most women getting pampered at a spa is relaxing and blissful. Doing it so at an 8th century Roman bath is a totally different experience. Hammam El Ward is one of the oldest Roman baths in Syria. It's also long been known as a place to get a diva-like treatment in the old fashioned way. This afternoon, we visit this traditional steambath to meet the women who keep the tradition alive.
