where did you buy the case

@MongooseBikeRacer I bought the case at Wal-Mart. It's in the Hot Wheels aisle but it's usually hidden on the bottom shelf with all the low budget die-cast cars. It's a $6 case.

what type of ink is that?

@WamCustoms Those are Liquitex brand acrylic inks. They're really awesome. I love them. They're a fairly new product from Liquitex......so if your local art store doesn't carry them, you can ask them to. :]

@jasonrudolphpena are they the inks you use on most of your backgrounds? I bought some speedball acrylic ink the other day and i wasnt really impressed. They're too opaque, but it looks like the Liquitex brands seem more transparent in your Zach Galifinakis portrait

@WamCustoms No. I didn't use ink on the background for the Zach painting. I used Ralph Lauren acrylic interior latex and Liquitex Pthalo Green acrylic paint. I diluted the paint with tap water. That's why it has that ink-like consistency.
I laid down the light background first, then I dripped the green paint on top of it. The drips are completely random.
You can get some really sweet effects just by adding water to your acrylic paints. They're similar to watercolors.
