Considering that October 14 saw the Dow cross the 10,000 mark, seems unlikely that by Dec 31 we will see the DJ in the 4000 range..... Another false profit speaks!

anybody know where I can find eps data for the S&P 500 - both operating earnings and reported - going back as far as possible(I already have them going back to 88), also if anybody knows where I can get the consensus forecasts for that period that would be great

I was attracted to your funny headline. You have some interesting content, but GLOOM & DOOM is not the answer -- you've not shared how to prepare. Also, when every body is buying Gold... it's already too late. I'm interested in chatting with anyone about passive income and cashflow. I'm a big fan of Robert T. Kiyosaki. You will like his book and CDs PROPHECY!

As far as everbody buying gold, I only know one other person in my circle of friends and he's only got 1ounce. 99.999999999% have not purchase any gold
