To me Excalibur has always been a true masterpiece and the only outstanding film adaptation about the Arthurian Legend. I just wanted to make a little tribute to this great movie by combining it with Blind Guardian's also excellent song called 'A Past and Future Secret'.

"Far back in the past I saw his ending, long before it started I knew his name" - Merlin. It is Merlin who, according to the legend, lives backward in time. So the past for him is the future for us. That's why he could easily fortell the future but hardly could remember the past.
