This is a very hard battle if you're not prepared.

The "elephant trumpet" move is Imperium and is usually used by crowned monsters.

If I recal correctly, the minions don't need it to attack more than once per turn.

However, it does boost their stats.

Though an alternative is to recruit the man in your party and take him there... since he can't say no to a elemental god. Only flaw is the matter of persuing the dark path and such, since he won't join parties with a high Dark god affinity)

No it's the fact that he gets the Ice Sword and you have to off him to get the Ignigarde for a long trade sequence (Affinity w/ Saruin Sharply increases if he was in your party earlier)

Galahad is only good because of his High LP, but his BP Regen really sucks...

I remember some elephant trumpet like sound wave support spell which gave THE WHOLE TRIANGLE the chance to performe more than one move in one turn

The minions are dramatically stronger in the triangle formation, not to mention they can combo like crazy.
