@paturi319 We are VAISHNAVA'S! (Followers of Krishna; THE SUPREME PERSONALITY). Lord Shiva, Ganesha, etc. are demi-gods, Krsna is the Supreme! Our Guru, Srila Prabhupada brought this ideology of Krsna Conciousness to the West. If it weren't for his mercy, the west would be in complete chaos due to Maya (illusion/destruction). The only reason there is no apostasy in Hinduism is because Hinduism is not a religion. It is actually a family of different persuasions or sects that share similarities in belief and origin that have been grouped under the umbrella called Hinduism.

@iLittleRose This is not the meaning of "Hinduism" . Hindu is a mispronunciation of people who live beyond the Sindhu River. The term Hinduism was made popular by Swami Vivekananda in late 1800s. Sanatana Dharma is the original "Hinduism". Read Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, or any Puranas or scriptures and you can see what makes someone a "Hindu".

@Saraswatipravah Vedas are essence of Mahabharat and Sanatana Dharma. Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains, all reject the Vedas.
