But i study cultural sciences and criticism, and just to throw it in there, 1reason y both the US and the Brits tend to (but dont only) harp on their experiences in ww2 is cuz both countries have been on political declines from their world power positions since. these constant references are a way to remember the golden hours of each country - a status longed 4again
