Aya Revolution 2009 Sunday Night Live: what happens when the Lucky Star dancers get bored of dancing the Motekke! Sailor Fuku? This nice striptease done for Ayacon of course. Very intriguing.
I watched you from off stage, I thought you did brilliantly! All the negative commenters are being total dickshits. it takes a lot of courage to get up there and do what you did; and not only was it good you made it funny too!
I really enjoyed it.
SNL was a VARIETY act. This was something different. Something new and really, really brave. I commend you!
Well a performance like this is never going to be to everyone's tastes. But you could tell by the audience reaction at the con that quite a few did approve. O_~
Already told you this, Shini, but you did a fantastic job! I loved it! XD The deliberate mess ups were timed perfectly. 8D
I've known this girl for a few years, and I think her performance was fantastic. It takes a lot of guts to do something like that, which yes, won't appeal to everyone (and why not? You people have no taste), but it was a very original idea and I think a first for UK cons. So hurrah for you hun, you were bloody sexy and I loved (and laughed during!) every minute of your performance. LOVE <3
I admire this girl's confidence! Being a bigger girl myself, I'd never in my life feel confident like her in next to no clothes, on stage as well! She rocks! I hope to one day feel confident and comfortable in my cosplay, exactly the same as her!
and obviously the stupid crits are coming from people who 1. have body issues 2. jealous
it was nice to see a burlesque performance done well :) and your costume didnt look terrible. hell most of us arent trainned proffesionals in costumes.
the only crit i wud say would be to add more layers of clothing or props to work with.
Well I'm sorry you feel that way, that really wasn't my intention at all. I can see why you might think that, but it wasn't my motivation (in fact, people thinking that was the very reason I didn't go as far as most burlesque performers do)
I like burlesque, I think it's an interesting and entertaining form of dance, and I wanted to give it a try.
OK, costume - Yes, my sewing skills are not exactly omgtopnotch, I'm still new to it. But please don't just blindly insult something I worked hard on.
The decision to not use a wig was deliberate because of the dance itself, I didn't think it practical
The premise of the show was a variety act, so yes I started with the idea of a burlesque performance then tried to create one with an anime theme, I'm sorry you felt it didn't work.
It was an attempt at something a little different is all
Very nice. Ignore the haters.

If you didn't like it, well, that's fine too.

Sorry, to me it's still an excuse for a girl to shake her ass around half-naked. And there's nothing "different" about that, we're all used to it.
