How beautiful! I've looked at this at least once a day since I found it here. I happened to be reading the book "Lost Letters of Pergamum" & wondered if there was anything on the city on YouTube. This just took my breath away. Thank you for posting it.

Thanks! I didn't know of that book. I read the first chapters last weekend and find it fascinating how Longenecker brings historical facts and religious traditions and legends into relation.

Eine gelungene Animation, ich bin gespannt, ob es noch eine Fortsetzung gibt. Einen Hinweis für den Ersteller: Ephesus und Assos wären sicher auch eine Animation wert.

Danke! Ich versuche, dieses Jahr noch eine Szene des Trajaneums fertigzustellen, wenn es die Zeit zulässt.

Stimmt. Assos oder auch Priene hätte ich eigentlich lieber ausgewählt, weil sie nicht so sehr im Fokus stehen und die Gefahr parallel laufender Visualisierungsprojekte nicht so hoch wäre, wie jetzt bei Pergamon. Aber letztlich habe ich mich für Pergamon entschieden, weil die Grabungsergebnisse einfach viel besser dokumentiert und öffentlich zugänglich sind.
