This documentary is part of Pretoma's "No Tuna Farms" campaign. Andy Bystrom makes the trip down to Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast and hikes out to the proposed site of a tuna farm project that would disrupt the pristine state of the area's natural resources, artisan fishing, and eco tourism based economy. The community is against the tuna farms and is trying to organize a referendum to stop the potential destruction.

We've stopped the gov't from issuing any more permits. Now we're trying to revoke the environmental viability that was issued by the Environmental Secretariat last year.

Thanks for your support.
We've managed to stop additional governmental permission from being given to the project. Now we have to pressure the gov't to revoke the environmental viability that was granted last year.
