Interview with the Plaid Cymru leader. I would not bother with this party usually, but they have the chance to wipe out New Labour in Wales.

Plaid are not Nationalists they are pro-immigration and pro-EU. Westminster pays millions of pounds for the Welsh, Wales has a population which is lower than London! Wales has no real financial resources and Plaid "Cymru" will not wipe Labour out, Labour always win Westminster seats in Wales but I am quite sure that the Conservatives will win more seats because who won the Wales constituency? The Conservatives and UKIP made a breakthrough. Plaid just stayed in the same place as before.

The man is speaking up for the best interests of Wales

I'm sorry but that just doesn't make him a " wanker " .

When I see this kind of reaction it shows me that it's high time

England had a similar politician standing up for the best interests

of English people . It's about time England raged against the machine

that everyone in the UK is now disgusted with .

If you ask me how i think the English electorate are , in one word

I hate Plaid, i'm looking for their candidates out on the streets so i can ridicule their immigration and asylum policy face to face with them. Most people who vote Plaid would be better off voting BNP but they don't bother to learn the facts.

@adamjones416 No, Wales never had a banking system until the 1970s but it never lasted very long because it was bought by HSBO. "I don't care about the people of Wales" blah blah blah, correction I do not care about stupid retards like yourself!! I care about the Welsh language a lot and about Welsh jobs for Welsh workers and about how much Westminster spends on Wales. The Welsh pay for their hospitals, education, security, pensions etc the English and the Scots pay the most. Of course the English do not even have their own assembly, it is only Westminster which gains influence from the Welsh and the Scots. England was formed right before Wales by King Alfred the Great and Pembroke, Gower, Gwent, Brecon and Glamorgan were all part of the Kingdom of England and Llywellyn the Great was given the right to have control over the Welsh kingdoms by treaties.

No, I said that this whole argument about the Welsh language is irrelevant to why Wales should have "independence" because that would be like making Cornwall independent because of its dead language or breaking up England into Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. Britain industrialised Wales throughout it such as the coal mines, the steel, gold, copper, iron and slate which increased the Welsh economy a lot and the same applied to England.

No, I did not say that Welsh was irrelevant, stupid, I said that the only reason why you want to be "free" from Britain is because of the Welsh language, nothing else when you have no idea that schools taught in the medium of Welsh, and S4C and the Assembly in Welsh as well. The industrial revolution happened throughout England and throughout Scotland in the urban parts of the country, so again that fails totally. The only irrelevant thing is Plaid "Cymru" and this phoney Welsh nationalism.

@adamjones416 Wales hardly has any industry like England, the Westminster parliament spends over billion pounds on the Welsh Assembly. Wales has a population smaller than London which is about 3 million, Wales has no banking system either which means no savings. Britain's economy spends money on transport, education, health, universities and it even industrialised Wales as well and Wales was never properly a nation either but just a set of regions until it was joined with England.
