JEALOUSY!!!!!!! I want a Green Bottle Blue so badly, but I know if I got one I couldn't help but want to handle it frequently. And the only one I've seen in person I saw at a pet store yesterday, and pardon my french, but he seemed like a mean little fucker. I also haven't ever had the experience of having hairs flicked at me, much less bit, and from what I heard at the pet shop the beautiful foul tempered lil guy likes to do that a lot. Damn shame too :(

idk why you would say i dont recomend handling tarantulas....alot of them are very nice and are VERY easy to hand like rose hairs, and mexican red knees they RARELY ever bite you.... but if your talking about blondies, and blue cobalts then fuck that those should never be handled.....but your just like scareing people there not bad at all to hold there nice,soft, and cuddly lol

@playwithme30 I don't intend to scare anyone. It's just that I do not want people who do not really know what they are doing to get hurt (and hurt the Ts in the process). No matter how docile, any T can bite and deliver venom.
In fact, when it comes to handling, I can't care less about the handler (if you do it, you have to assume you are putting yourself at risk). I am a lot more concerned when some idiots wanting to swell manhood, do it wrongly, panic then fling the poor T across the room.

1. Tarantulas are not like dogs.
2. I knew what I was doing. I have handled more defensive species.
3. Someone who says something despite not really knowing what he/she is talking about is the idiot.

Yes, they are. Mine was a little unpredictable at times. Sometimes a slight touch sent her darting into her web hide. Sometimes she just ignored it. And from what I knew, GBB tends to flick very itchy hair.
