i have more experience as a groove hooper with a bigger hoop. mine is a bit above my belly button. but brecken77 and others are rockin' the smaller hoops.

i'm afraid of doing it with hand. I don't want to hurt myself, but if I want to learn it I got to practice right? So I'll try it.

:-) Yes, try it! And trust that your body and brain will figure it out. I've bumped myself a few times (or more!) when hooping, but that's part of the process of learning. Good luck!

Hi Wendy. This is my sister in the vid, so I can't speak for her, but I learned the trick, too. Learning a trick is not often so much a matter of time as it is the body first understanding how to do it. Sometimes that can happen in just a few minutes. Once The Body knows what to do, then the grace of the move is what gets better in time. Does that make sense?
