Pilots among all the other pre-flight checks to be made these days, check your spinner nut/screw and make sure its secure! Damage was minimal. This was the 2nd flight-- 1st flight the CG was off, way to tail heavy, this flight was better, but a loose nut forces her in to the water...

  • @inthetubedeep I have a solution, get a sea plane. If it's going to end up there anyway then you might as well be ready right?

  • @7jsm7 NEVER- I have not had ONE plane lose radio over land, never-- all my crashes have happened on the beach over water no exceptions!! and EVRY crash was loss of contact or brownout, so no doubt its my Bermuda Triangle...Thats why I used the Turnigy 9X on the P-47, wanted to see if it was radio or other factors...Well except this one where spinner fell off!

  • @inthetubedeep See it never happens over dry land because you failed to realize that the bermuda triangle for RC planes lies just off the shore, that's why all of your planes keep failing over the water. =)

  • @Streamliner009 No foam damage, but one retract, one wing servo fried. A little h2o got in the fusi, but no electrical damage, ESC/motor were ok. I ended up retiring this FMS P-51, it's had its' time!

  • It looks like there was little damage. Did water come inside?

  • 3:01 :)
