  • Hm I'm considering applying there I just have a bunch of questions left unanswered. Oh well, I'll give it a shot here.

So..I know that the only stuff I gotta pay for are books, dorm and..something else, forgot. Can anyone provide me with some info on that? How much is it? Clearly finances are the things stopping my international butt all the freakin' time and a big headache. If anyone is willing to answer more questions please PM me I'd appreciate some help.

  • Sure, I'll send you a message.

  • I was just offered admission and one thing I have to know, is it really as boring there as people make it out to be? haha

  • lol definitely not. It IS in a small town, but there's a ton of stuff on campus to do and you'll make a ton of friends your first week there. But whether or not a college is boring should be the least of the determining factors for you in deciding which college you attend.

  • Thank you for these videos. My son has been offered admission to Berea College and will be setting a ROW date this week. Do you know how long these ROW sessions last so we can plan on how long we will expect to be there. (we are 5 hours drive away)

  • Your welcome! The ROW sessions are usually two days. The students will check in the first night and then spend the next day doing the scheduled activities. If you contact the Admissions Office (859-985-3599), they can give you a list of hotels that are nearby (or you can just check on any travel website). The soonest ROW weekends are June 5th, 19th and 26th.

  • I understand that the social aspect of college is pretty insignificant compared to the education lol i just figured since i'm going there i should just know what to expect, but thanks, you are very helpful :)

  • GREAT!! thank you so much i really needed to clarify some of those things and my god are you kidding me?? between 10 and 20 degrees in winter?? that is very very cold, i hope i wont die of hypothermia if i get in.
