Lions vs Buffalo

These two male lions attacked this large buffalo bull on the Hamilton's concession area in the Kruger National Park. They persisted until the buffalo couldn't move, then chased a rival lion lying nearby. It is unusual to see only two male lions successfully killing a buffalo. Usually lionesses do most of the hunting.
