Superswimming was found by KlydeStorm. (I only realize now that I should've credited him before... sorry.)

(Skip to 0:18 for those who are impatient.)

I suppose I could show this...
This is basically the video I (accidentally) made public before, but in full. It's a test to show the power of a single superswim, I guess. I move from Outset Island to Greatfish Isle.
Note that the superswimming here isn't at all optimized! (I wonder if 4 isles is possible (even if it'll probably be less optimal)... XD)

By the way, sorry for recording the beginning there, but I can't edit the sound file without it heavily glitching on me! Recording sound only seems to work by starting the recording before loading a game. D=

  • What emulator?

  • I used the emulator named Dolphin. (It's actually rather stable, now! (At least, from what I've tested/seen.))

  • I just noticed that Link has a determined expression on his face, He's all like "I WILL super swim past 3 islands!". He's motivated.

  • I wanted to see a tas from begin to end of this game so bad

  • It is uncanny work!

  • @LightBlueYoshi I did what you told me to do. I pressed L and jumped in the water and let go, but when I press up and down it didn't work :(

  • @LightBlueYoshi Thank you so much! you are the only one who replied. By the way I love your vids

  • Well... first, try to align the camera with yourself by pressing L (let go after you do so). Then, it's simply up-down-up-down every frame! Careful, though, since after a certain point, the camera will slowly start tilting a bit (I'm not sure how you'd get around this without specific directional input, which isn't out yet (as far as I know)), and after another certain point, the camera will immediately switch in the other direction, making you have to press down or up for another frame!

  • @LightBlueYoshi What frames?

  • @LightBlueYoshi it doesn't work when i try it, what am I doing wrong?

  • where we're going, we don't need boats...
