The guitars were recorded with a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier and a Marshall head. The speaker cabinets were two 4x12 Shawnee cabinets and were mic'd with a set of Royers.
We attempted to mix the song just like the original recording. All of the effects, levels, etc... are based on the original version.
We videotaped the performance using two Panasonic AG-HVX200 DVCPRO's.

The kids are AWESOME!! I'm 35, been playing since I was 13 and I would love to have had the opportunity these kids have. But not just that, they are VERY talented! Obviously the quality of the recording and engineering is great as well, but the people make the music, and these kids owned it! Also, I love seeing the women playing..You really don't see enough women musicians, most seem to gravitate towards singing. You're not only finding talent, you're creating it as well. Keep up the good work!
