Eastman does make arch top guitars which look very similar to my 'cello.

Thanks for the comment. Actually I'm not playing a guitar; this is an Eastman MDC805. Built in 2007. I got her in 2009. A mandocello is tuned like a cello, but with 4 courses of double strings, like a mandolin.
