It's been said by several people that part of this tune is a remix of Cackletta's theme from Superstar Saga, and I have to agree. It sounds so similar, there's no way it can be a coincidence.

  • EmeraldoTheDragon you missed one remix. The one from when Mario and Luigi first walked into peach's castle

  • @joeyjumper94 I know. There are others I haven't done, such as the underwater music, the tutorial music and some cutscene music. Doesn't mean I'm going to do them.

  • I thought this was from "Fawful Castle".

  • Well, even though it was under Fawful's control, it's still technically Peach's Castle, hence why I named the tune as such rather than "Fawful's Castle".

  • Nice to hear more remixes. Oh yeah, the official name for the track is "Deep Castle", according to Mario & Luigi RPG Music Selection. Look it up.

  • Nintendo actually got round to releasing some Mario & Luigi tunes in CD form? Cool! Thanks for the info.

  • This sounds like something that'd serve as a good last level in any NES game.

  • 0:55 Bloody Tears? Tocata and Fugue?

  • @kyleere994 yes. it even sounds like they are saying "while we try to cheat in a really good game"

  • Ah, this is really a great deal of fun to listen to. Very nicely done.

  • they should add this in castlevania

  • @AguFungus Actually, I believe this track is called "Fawful's Stronghold"

  • I like it, but the simplicity of 8-bit music means that it loses those chords that make the harmony of this song sound so eerie. But, yeah. Great remix!

  • como haces el efecto de nes

  • @kyleere994 yeah i didnt think many other ppl noticed it to be honest
