@grimre umm yeah it is, and evryone did drugs back then. I don't think chaka was smoking crack though, I think she was smart enough to know that doing that would mess up her voice. So yes my arguement is valid age does play some factor in it, with the deterioration of your voice, but not to this point that you see with Whitney. Secondly, whitney is only 47 years old, you all are makking her out to be some old ass grandma when she isn't. Her voice should still be strong, end of story!

@ActorAnt yeah but she would still be able to hit those notes if she hadn't smoked crack! Chaka Khan is alot older then her, and can still hit notes she hit back in the 70's! Same with Gladys Knight, so.. your theory that she just can't hit those notes because of age isn't vaild enough.

@rodgermourtagh ......fuckin with bobby......she even left his ass, she even left the drugs alone too. Was happy and set to make this comeback....then I heard right before the start of the tour, she was fuckin with bobby brown again.....I immediately broke down then....cause I knew the drugs would come back too.....a shame she couldnt let that bastard go.......

i love the fact people put her vocal downfall as you call it down to drugs. yes this hasnt helped but as a singer who knows what im talking about shes aged and so her voice inturn has dropeed octaves which means she cant reach them amazing notes she did in her 'PRIME' and my god she was the best when she was in her prime and no1 can argue that love u whitney xx
