I can tell you one thing you cannot compare the kindle to the iphone with the kindle application. The smaller kindle has a 6 inch screen and the kindle dx has a 9.7 inch screen. The iphone is too small. It also doesn't have e-ink technology in it that makes reading on the kindle and kindle dx easy to read. I suggest you buying a actual kindle or the new apple tablet. I could not even image reading on a iphone. It is way too small.

Thanks I'm new to e reading and I didn't know about Stanza; I wont be buying Kindle for the time being.
