Tom Daschle manages to get in a dig after George Stephanopoulos mis-speaks and confuses Poland for Czechoslovakia and gets in a shot at McCain for not remembering that the country does not exist any more in response to Romney touting McCain's worldly experience with his response to the Russia/Georgia conflict.

I said it in 1998 and I'll repeat it again, Greenspan got caught up in the hubris of the fantastic economic growth experienced by America, and took his hands off the wheel. While the economy grew, he had one job, to slowly close the valve and slow growth, build steam, and then when things slowed in 2001, he could have opened the valve and let back some energy into the system. Instead, we had to increase the monetary supply. Of course, the valve to which I refer is the Fed Interest Rate.
