Cigar reviews Sancho Panza Double Maduro Cigar Review http://cigarobsession.com http://bgpictures.com

This 4.5x50 box pressed maduro stick offers a dark chocolate, satin wrapped stick with firm construction, minimal veins, tight seams, a ton of oil sheen and feel and a mild peppery tobacco aroma. First light reveals a plain deep medium bodies tobacco with a heavy after taste. The entire rest of the 45 min experience was exactly the same - very plain with a bad aftertaste of plain tobacco. I want my $2 back. Photography by BG Pictures.

  • No it wasn't too moist. My humidors are kept at 65% and it was in there for quite some time.

  • I do have a lot of 'cheap sticks' already reviewed and still waiting - there are a LOT of them! lol In fact this one was a result of a trip to my local store and I bought 10 different under $2 sticks that he had. The Tiki torches are from walmart, home depot, etc. for a few bucks.

  • I smoke the cuban SPs a lot and now as im buying a big order of NCs that just dont exist in england i think ill throw a tew of these imposters in with them.

  • @jkherberger I'm wondering if there is a quality control issue or if these are extremely sensitive to humidity. I don't know why the latter would be the case. I can tell you these cigars are the only long filler cigars I've ever tried that I actually could not finish. I've had some (What I consider to be) terrible short filler cigars like the A. Fuente Brevas, but these Panzas are even worse! I can actually finish a Brevas. I simply can't finish a Panza. They're absolutely horrific.

  • @jkherberger I don't think each Panza is the same, I've had the EXACT issues he's described here in FIVE Sancho Panza double maduros (This exact same vitola). Were yours the shorter vitolas or these longer ones? I could not finish any of them. They turn to mush at the halfway mark and overheat, even if I smoke them so slowly that they go out. I've tried smoking at my normal pace, faster & slower. I've tried drying them out for a day before smoking as well. All five were literally like dog shit.

  • I had this exact same experience. It was extremely unfortunate. Others have told me that these have been good for them. I've smoked 5 so far, hoping that would change, as the price is very good. I've tried everything to see if it's the way I'm smoking them, my humidor, etc. These have been complete GARBAGE for me and at $2.75 a stick, I also want my money back.

  • Wow, I couldn't disagree more. I'm an avid cigar smoker and have even picked up a part time job at my local shop, just for fun. I had one today and was curious of what you'd think. My experience was sweet chocolate perfection. No burn issues whatsoever and while it was a qickish smoke I took it to the cap. To each their own. Keep up the reviews, I do enjoy.

  • I actually loved the one I had. I was pretty drunk at the time, so maybe that's why lol. I'll give it another shot sober. I love your reviews btw. I've been smoking cigars for about 3-4 months, and as a novice smoker, I find your reviews very helpful. Keep em coming.

  • It's too moist. You should have left in a hudmidor for a couple of days before trying it. I love Sancho Panza cigars. The bigger ones smoke better. The guitar shop left it in the plastic wrap too long.

  • @pitbikerz The bit where you throw it away at the end is the best, haha!

  • LOL
