@PTPLauthor It was mainly done this way for psychological purposes. Light sky blue was there so the pilot couldn't not get confused easily and to feel more comfortable. It's not a randomly picked color.

@PTPLauthor This has been standard after extensive research: the conviction is that this color is the best for not distracting pilots, lessen their workload and still heighten and sharpen their focus/concentration.
