Hadith - 7 Who will be shaded on the Day of Judgement

Explanation of the Hadith narrated by Abu Hurayra that the Prophet said, " On the Day of Judgement Allah will give the shade of the ^Arsh (Throne), to seven, when there will be no shade but the shade
of the ^Arsh.

Some people have explained this Hadith to mean that 7 people will be shaded by the shade or shadow of Allah. This is incorrect, Allah is not an object or a body to have a shadow or produce shade. Allah is not a volume, shape or form and does not resemble any of his creations.

Imam Abu Mansur al-Baghdadiyy related in his book, Al-Farqu Bayn al­Firaq, that Imam 'Ali the fourth of the caliphs, may Allah reward his deeds, said: "Allah existed eternally and there was no place, and He now is as He was, i.e., without a place."

The correct meaning of this Hadith is that they will be shaded and protected from the heat of the sun by the shade of Al `Arsh (Throne)
