@mhguy77 video quality is very good, almost as good as a SLR but without manual controls. low light quality is fine, a bit noisy in extreme low light, but quite similar to some lower end SLR's. main issue is that the camera is really slow to start up, and it doesn't start recording video until about 5 seconds after you hit the record button. stabilizer works really well and audio sounds good (but mainly for voice, and not so much for live concert music). not enough space to discuss 60p/60i sorry

I am considering buying this for the video quality and the low light quaility ( they claim they have a stabilization) Are these good performing reasons to choose this camera?
Also what is the esay difference between 60p/60i
sorry view videos from camera

@esj4373 one more thing , remember to copy the video to your computer first before playing, as it will not play smoothly directly from the card. hope it helps!

@esj4373 try bringing the video file into Windows Live Movie maker, and render the video out at a smaller resolution or bit rate, and it should play smoothly on your system.

Hey Geoffmobile, How did you get the video into Windows Live Movie Maker? I tried the using the AVCHD 1080/60i format, but when put into Movie Maker, I had sound, but the video was more like a Slide Show then a video. Please help me out and let me know, thank you in advance

@PoolSharkWizard hi, try copying the MTS file from the card onto your computer, and then adding the MTS file into Windows Live Movie Maker. is your computer too slow? are you using Windows Live Movie Maker latest version from Microsoft or an older version? also try the other mode Mp4 recording mode on your camera and see if that works (I have started using that mode instead now)...
