This is an 11-minute video of my trip to Trinidad & Tobago to visit Kathy in April...one of the best trips I've ever taken in my life. Enjoy the music, most of it is Machel Montano, the biggest Trinidadian music star, and the last piece is by Mason Jennings.

  • I am Trini living abroad and thoroughly enjoyed looking at this video. I will definitely share it with my non-Trini friends and feel proud to see you had such a rich and enjoyable experience in my country!!

  • @TheKenyon2010 Katthy said "sauce" but she should have said "souse" lol., too busy concentrating on the driving, we all do it. For those who don't know what it is, souse is made with Pig's feet, onions, cucumbers, salt, lime juice, water and pepper. Some people put some watercress in the bowl.

  • @arabianqueen2 I am confused by your response. Can you explain? A lot of Trinidadians do not appreciate what they have. Yes, the crime is the problem but if we had a more serious police force maybe they would be able to handle it. I haven't been back to Trinidad for a long time but I have always enjoyed my country; it so much better than many of the third world countries that I have been too.

  • @TriniArabGirl Why do we always have to bring up "RACE". The video was not about race. I am assuming that she was surprised to see a song done in Trinidad about Obama. Trinidad calypsonians and singers always sing about what is going on in the world. They have done that for decades. That is why she posted it. It was something that she did not expect in Trinidad.

  • @TriniArabGirl Why do people like Bush, Clinton, Kennedy, etc., because they are or were white? Question yourself and see if your question makes sense. People like politicians for what they represent. There are a lot of black people in America who do not like Obama, believe me, I know a few. I live in a country where the majority of politicians are white and I still have to vote for them because I vote for who I think I could benefit from. Trinis are not as stupid as you think the are.

  • It is nice to see a well done and positive video of Trinidad. I am interested to know the name of the resort in Salybia. Thanks.

  • proud to be a trini <3

  • why do trinidadians like Obama just bc he's black? he only wants to take over the land but he's deceiving you bc he knows you'll fall for him bc he's black. wake up trinis!
