Speaking as a train driver myself I wish to point out that not only is this one of the most annoying adverts I have ever seen but what is it with Virgin Trains? Why are they so up themselves? and what on earth makes their staff think they are superior to any other train operating company! It takes far more skill to drive a freight train weighing upwards of 1000 tonnes than a 125 MPH Spam can which virtually drives its self! Trust me I speak from 13 years experience!

a few things i have noticed. Since when did the 1940 not stop at Crewe? at 0.43 who turned Shugbrough tunnel into the tunnel of love? this service can't pass through Stoke before the 'tunnel of love' she travled in standard all the way to Manchester but left on a first class carriage and lastly the station clock shows 03 past an hour not 57 of the previous hour as booked, probably because it diverted to go through the 'tunnel of love' and Stone. look closely and you will notice all of these.

@shoptothecafe i was expressing how i felt about the ad and my personal experience of that train as i use it a lot and generally i really enjoy it. i wasnt asking you for your thoughts - so not sure how exactly your comment was directed at me? - bit strange lol
