It becomes a problem if the politician runs on a platform consisting of family values and the bible.

The last two folks were exactly right. A guy would be getting high fives from his buddies, but the woman would be judged 'slutty'. Not that either is correct.
I think that people can slip and be forgiven. It's those who push "family values" and run on that as a platform who deserved to be called on the double standard. Ensign is a perfect example as "Promise Keeper".
