Exactly! the fact is...that if it weren't for his "image", he would just be another guitar player. If anything, Axl made Slash by picking him for "his" band. And he fucking changes his stories all the time. "Axl kicked me out of the band", no wait, "I quit the band". "Axl ruined the band"..no wait "Axl is a great frontman, just had different visions".Just listen to band members that have worked with Slash since he left GNR.Scott Weiland and Josh Todd both say "he" was difficult to work with

When slash said when GN'R were on their Illusion tour slash said it was just an exercise to him. I can't believe he would say something like that because that was the longest tour in history. Slash mentions having a security guard to keep him out of trouble. It would only be from his drinking cuz GN'R was late getting on stage because slash was wasted lying on the backstage floor and the band had to get slash straightened up enough to perform.

@jimmis100gr, slash may be good but their are so many other better guitar players out there. He is not a god in any way !

ok you don't understand about good guitar playing xD, he is a god not onli by the way he plays and there aren't so many guy that can play better then him anyway, there are some, but they are worst guitarists than slash, for you this probably doesn't make sence rigth? xD, but you are ritgh about the god he is not a god he is a legend, there are no gods on guitars,

Offcourse Slash is an excelent guiatrist, but i can at least count 10-20 or even more guitarists wich are better than him technically, I can also name at least over 10 guitarist wich are better than him in entertainment and over 20 guitarists wich are better than him in expressing fellings with the guitar.
But after all I have to say I love that guy, but he is very overrated and that is just because of his look and Guns N Roses. He have been an Icon because of a serial of coincidence, thats life

I burned my book of slash too. Just tossed it in the fireplace. Glad I didn't pay a dime for it. Got it free at a garage sale. cause I've heard slash say that strippers are good ppl to rely on. They would allow them to crash at their places. He never kept his story straight from what he has said in vedoe's. How could he remember the truth ?????
