Should Marijuana be Legalized?

For CLU3M, my Law ISU about Marijuana: Should it be legalized or not?

@Balthamous decrease and lesson... both still smaller. And yes, I think it may make it safer, but keep in mind it will always be a drug that isn't necessarily safe if you use it for the wrong reasons or overdose. Anyways, my opinion. Thanks for the constructive comments!

@Balthamous lol yes I agree! :D And I understand you disagree, I personally think it is a bit risky making it Legal because once you do that... you cannot turn back. If it were to be Legal, however, I can see a few things I think they should do (like the whole licence thing Dan mentioned.) Thanks for adding your whole comment here, I didn't have time to use the entire thing :P

Oh actually I forgot something chopin, I did not say that it would decrease its use I said it would lesson its use, and make it safer to use.

I think there are a lot of unfair responses .. I understand youu disagreeing but there is no reason to be downright CRUEL and making a scene .. This "girl making the video" did an amazing job! And at least we can see her side of the argument. This isn't a right or wrong question, or side of the fence. Good job on your video!!

Making the drug Illegal also forces its users to go underground where it is not safe to administer it. If the Government were to legalise it may help prevent the numbers of people overdosing or doing it simply for “kicks”.

My conclusions are as follows: Making the drug illegal actually encourages its use, making it “cool” for people to try it, be it as a bet or for “kicks” It would be false to state that the drug is not addictive or does not cause harm, once one has tried the drug the likelihood of them becoming addictive to it is low but it still remains that there is that possibility.
