This is the in-game soundtrack for the PC game "MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat" (1995) from Activision and FASA Corporation. It was composed by Gregory Alper and Jeehun Hwang.

You can actually hear all of these songs (26 in total) when you put the "MechWarrior 2" game CD in your stereo and skip track number one which is the data track.

This is the 15th music track on the CD, called "Temper Edge / Wolf Trial 4".

@heresjohnno That reminds me, I did some research a few days ago on the Refusal War and was surprised that Khan Ulric Kerensky actually planned the Clan Wolf split from the start--the ones that survived, became the Warden Clan Wolf-in-Exile, while Ulric would lead the Crusaders to take on the Falcons. They'd mutually annihilate each other and the Warden Wolves would survive.

Unfortunately, Ulric didn't count on the Crusader Wolves surviving and reforming under Khan Vlad Ward. o.o
