What about visitors to your home - do they have to be Vodafone customers too and register their phones to use SureSignal?

Hey, I live in a very bad reception area. Will this increase my data usage costs on my basic Vodafone monthly plan?

Does it work with the HTC desire HD? The iphones in the building seem to work fine with it but not the HTC.

@Liamoc1000 Hi Liam, it works perfectly with the Desire and all HTC phones. You may need to give the guys on the helpdesk a call to make sure the number using the desire is registered properly on the Sure Signal account.

I was quite cynical about this as I never had a signal at my home, 18 miles outside of Dublin, nor did I have Eircom broadband, I had Ripple broadband, which means you do not have to have a landline....So...I plugged it into the router and hey presto, I have three bars of signal, sometimes more...so I can make and receive calls and texts...yipee... It does not interfere with my broadband activity either. So its not true that you need a landline.

@Hermeshermione As long as you have fixed broadband over 1MB speeds, sure signal will work. Suppliers that use wireless such as Digiweb or Ripple will work perfectly with Sure Signal :)
