Into the Pixelated Grey

First off, I'd like to thank Caysee for helping create this video. WIthout her, this project would not have been possible. Second, I'd like to thank Elvin_Elf for letting The §ic gaming community inhabit his server for the past year. His generosity and creativity has helped this video come to pass. (And his tolerance for letting us tear apart his server terrain xD) I'd also like to thank my gaming community for their endless support and dedication to building projects that they quite possibly were very angry at me for thinking up or attempting to replicate.

"Into the Pixelated Grey" is the story of a miner who is stuck far from home. In order to support his caring wife, he chooses to dig into an abandoned mineshaft in order to take what precious minerals he can. During his stay, he encounters numerous monsters within the depths of the Earth, and faces death countless times. At long last, when he finally finds the riches he has been seeking, he decides it is time to plan his escape and return home. Unfortunately, the long and grueling journey seems to have finally taken its toll, as our hero returns home; bruised and broken, he collapses within sight of his love. His mission complete, our hero can finally rest.

Running tracks are "They Escaped the Weight of Darkness", and "Into the Painted Grey" by Agalloch off their 2010 album "Marrow of the Spirit". If you like the tracks, buy the album on iTunes! Support the artist when they deserve it.
