The beat is cool but I think you are trying to mix two things that dont go together. I use the same reasoning for not putting Ice Cream on my funeral potatos. Both good just not on the same plate.

You people don't understand music. Music is sounds that are on a certain beat and rhythm. To take hymns and put them on a beat is no more weird than putting a bass line to them, and if you know music, every hymn has a bass line! It's in the piano sheet music. I think this is great!
Putting an audible and more apparent beat to hymns is just as natural as ice cream and chocolate, not funeral potatoes Monzaman08. And music is interpretive VampireGirl, it's your prerogative to not like it.

Thanks for the support Kurt, this hymn is in 3/4 like the first beat that come in then the second beat over the top is in 4/4, so it's polyrhythmic, unusual but I think it works
Some may not like this track but like you said you cant please everyone when it comes to music
