This is sad to me. I'm a 51 year old woman who lost her job and is likely to be living in her car in about a month. I'm trying to figure out where to go from here. I'm scared. But I trust that God will provide, so I won't lean on my own understanding.

Most folks aren't aware of how many of these transients do nothing but steal, burglarize, do drugs, etc. They often are a real blight. You wouldn't like them if they were in YOUR neighborhood.

Those cops aren't being heavy-handed or unprofessional. Find something else to complain about - this is a non-story.

The police do that cos its what Jesus would do too; its very Christlike. That's exactly what he did for the poor when he was on earth. He handcuffed them then talked to them insultingly, while he searched them without there permission.

@rjohson I volunteer every other week at Red Cross. I have helped many homeless families and people get back on their feet. I take for granted nothing that is each precious day I recieve when I am able to wake up. I have seen the bottomless pit of despair and anguish.
