Wish I knew when you posted.Raised some very good points,its ashame more people have seen and responed,but I know I will discuss this with my group of friends to spread the value of some very good info and I will definetly erase my HDD for now on a little magnet goes along way or as posted before microwave is quick but a magnet will do it withput lifting a finger. Thanks for the insight.

when dell comes to replace an HD I put a microwave before they pick it up. Anyone who wants to erase a HD being seized by either law or computer manufactures just microwave it. Also look into building a Electo Magnetric Ray Gun it can disable rfid and heart pace makers.
