Left Hind Leg of a Rabbit, learned from the singing of the incomparable Bessie Jones. Her singing of it is buried at the end of a track with a long story called "Kindlin' Wood." pots5jak's webcam recorded Video - December 14, 2009, 10:40 PM
@Rhinobeetle1 I looked for years too. Found it buried at the back of a long track by Bessie Jones (w/ The Georgia Sea Island Singers) called Kindlin' Wood. There's a death & resurrection mythology around the rabbit in the moon that came from Africa.
omg...i have been looking for this song for years, thank you so much! do you know who originally sang this? my dad had a recording that was very hillbilly sounding that he used to play in his pharmacy. great memories!
