Left Hind Leg of a Rabbit, learned from the singing of the incomparable Bessie Jones. Her singing of it is buried at the end of a track with a long story called "Kindlin' Wood." pots5jak's webcam recorded Video - December 14, 2009, 10:40 PM

  • @Rhinobeetle1 I looked for years too. Found it buried at the back of a long track by Bessie Jones (w/ The Georgia Sea Island Singers) called Kindlin' Wood. There's a death & resurrection mythology around the rabbit in the moon that came from Africa.

  • omg...i have been looking for this song for years, thank you so much! do you know who originally sang this? my dad had a recording that was very hillbilly sounding that he used to play in his pharmacy. great memories!
