@windycitywarrior71 WRONG,I did own BOTH and STILL have the silverado (with 312,572 trouble free miles on it by the way) and then I had had a dodge ram where everything including the motor went bad,even my boss had an 03 ram with the "hemi",and he had so many problems that a manufacturer had to be called in,so dont give me that b.s. I know nothing about the two trucks,and finally,I was only making a statement PROVEN to be a fact,and good luck with the thugs at chrysler financial.have a nice day.

@nitrostang50 Spoken like someone who knows nothing, ive owned both I know what the truth is. Ram isnt the only manufacturer with issues man wake up. Both trucks have their own flaws ill assume you have not owned both, so let see ive lived it and your speaking from references on the internet. Plus the whole chrome front end on the 2012's is horrible looking! thats a fail for chevy!

Look ive owned both silverado 5.3L 315hp and a ram 5.7L 390hp and over 400 ft lb of torque the 2012 ram has a 6 speed tranny fyi....... the ram performs light years ahead of the silverado, smoother ride, and offers more features on the lower end models like the express for the ram.....incase your curious ive owned nothing but chevys until this ram. Both have great features but you cant argure 5.3 vs 5.7 in this case ram takes it easily!
