The thing that makes this card so great is not his attack, if you have another Biolith creature out on the board Scion subtracts 2 from there activation cost, so say you wan't to attack with...... Battle Master it will only cost 2 mana instead of 4, and also if you have a Guardian Watchtower out at the same time you gain mana equal to the number of allied creatures during your resolution fase. Having a Bioltih Ascention card makes it really easy for you to get them both out there.
